in february 2026, i put this ceramic figurine downstairs by the elevator in my building.
in march, a neighbor spray painted it antique black/dark brass and put it back. they also secured it to the ledge with some kind of museum adhesive.
then a few days ago, someone broke it.
today i attempted to repair it kintsugi style with some gold mica power and epoxy. after it cure, i added some museum wax to the base and stuck it down. i did a pretty sloppy job with the epoxy so it doesn't look great but i'm glad it's in one piece and back on his little ledge.
